The rich fruit cake — soaked fruits, a brandy feed, marzipan and royal icing — and the Yorkshire parkin, darker and stickier after its keeping, are the Christmas bakes. Order by 18 December for delivery before Christmas Day; the date picker already knows the bank holidays around it.
